Victim parked his car and walked across the street to meet his wife for a night at the theater. Criminal, attempting to park his car, quickly backed into a curbside parking spot nearly striking Victim. Victim gestured to Criminal to slow down and watch where he was going. Criminal exited his car, walked up to Victim and punched him in the face. Victim was knocked out cold, suffered a traumatic brain injury and was billed more than $76,000 for his medical treatment. Victim eventually fully recovered from his injuries. Jim Coyne handled this case through judgment.
