Plaintiff is a sweet Grandmother who was shopping at a sidewalk sale looking to purchase a bicycle for her grandson. As she walked in the parking lot, a few feet off the edge of the sidewalk, she stepped into a pothole causing her to trip and fall. The Grandmother initially refused medical treatment, but later followed up with her family physician. Her family physician sent her for a MRI and diagnosed her with multiple non-displaced fractures. The Grandmother endured several months of physical therapy with positive results. Happily, Grandmother was eventually able to purchase the bicycle for her grandson.
